HFF was a leading commercial real estate capital markets and brokerage firm specializing in property acquisitions, debt and equity placement, investment advisory, M&A, and REIT-related activities. Founded in 1998 through the merger of Holliday Fenoglio & Co. and Fowler, Goedecke & Co., HFF closed over $800 billion in transactions across more than 27,000 deals before being acquired by JLL in 2019. The acquisition integrated HFF's expertise and client relationships into JLL's global capital markets platform, significantly expanding its reach and service capabilities.
