Built Technologies

Nashville, United States

Built Technologies is a Nashville-based real estate finance software company whose platform lets banks, credit unions and private credit lenders manage construction loans from origination through draw approval, inspections and closeout, while owners, developers and contractors submit draws and track budgets on the same system. It was founded in 2014 by Chase Gilbert, Andrew Sohr and Scott Sohr after Andrew Sohr ran into slow, fragmented lender processes while building out restaurant locations, and it launched in 2015 with three bank clients. Built raised a $21 million Series A led by Index Ventures in 2017 and a $125 million Series D led by TCV in September 2021 at a $1.5 billion valuation, followed by a strategic investment from Citi's SPRINT program in April 2023; third-party trackers put total funding at about $312.7 million. The company says 625+ lending institutions use the platform, including nearly half of the top 100 U.S. banks, and that it manages more than $350 billion in real estate and construction activity annually. In November 2025 it launched Draw Agent, an agentic AI product that reviews construction loan draws against lender policy, and in 2026 it hired former ARCOS and Concur finance chief Jason Woods as CFO and became a qualified Yardi ecosystem partner.
