Sekisui House U.S.
Denver, United States
Sekisui House U.S. is the American homebuilding platform formed after Japan's Sekisui House completed its $4.9 billion acquisition of Denver-based M.D.C. Holdings in 2024, then consolidated the acquired Woodside Homes, Hubble Homes, Chesmar Homes and Holt Homes brands under one operating entity built around Richmond American Homes. Operating across 14 states, the company closed 11,712 homes and generated $6.44 billion in revenue in 2025, ranking No. 8 on the Builder 100 list. It was named Builder Magazine's 2026 Builder of the Year for integrating Japanese and American homebuilding practices, including more rigorous material testing and construction standards.
