Village Homes is a Fort Worth homebuilder that filed for Chapter 11 reorganization in October 2025 after a legal dispute disrupted its operations: a 2024 contract to sell 100 vacant lots, the company name, and related intellectual property as part of a planned rebrand fell apart when the buyer failed to close, triggering a countersuit and lawsuit notices filed against the lots.
