Virga Capital develops The Lumberyard

The Lumberyard is a ground-up multifamily project on about 12 acres behind the Kenyon Noble store in Bozeman, which Virga's portfolio page lists at 290 units. 2023 reporting described a 440-unit mixed-income plan in which Virga builds the market-rate units and Reuter Walton builds 155 units restricted at about 60 percent of area median income, supported by $7.5 million of tax increment financing for infrastructure. Completion was targeted for 2026; the portfolio page still shows TBD.
