Brazos Residential acquires The Watson

Brazos Residential bought The Watson, a 248-unit Class A community built in 2018 in Grand Prairie off State Highway 360, from 180 Multifamily Properties in a Marcus & Millichap-brokered deal. Brazos's Wyatt Simmons said the purchase from a distressed seller required a highly structured partnership, waterfall and rescue capital. The portfolio page dates the acquisition to August 5, 2026 and lists the property as stabilized.
