Platte Canyon Capital

Denver, United States

Platte Canyon Capital (PCC) is a Denver-based value-add multifamily investor launched in January 2025 by Brennen Degner, former co-founder and CEO of DB Capital Management, and Paul Pittman, founder and chairman of Farmland Partners. It launched with a $30 million GP capital commitment from Culver City private equity firm Inceptiv, which the firm said could support up to $1 billion of acquisitions over three years through joint ventures, with a stated goal of about 5,000 units. PCC buys mismanaged and undercapitalized assets of $10 million to $50 million, often off-market or from distressed sellers, in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Denver, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. Its first two deals are the 268-unit Allure Apartments in San Antonio (July 2025) and the 252-unit Northwood Apartments in New Braunfels (April 2026), reported together at $45 million.
