Virga Capital

Bozeman, United States

Virga Capital is a Bozeman, Montana real estate investment and development firm founded in 2017 by Robert Lateiner, and it presents itself as building on the Olnick Organization's real estate legacy dating to the 1950s. It invests in multifamily and extended-stay hospitality through value-add, core-plus and ground-up strategies, with significant founder co-investment in each deal and third-party operators managing the assets. Its Bozeman work includes the Gallatin Laundry adaptive reuse, the Lumberyard apartments and the 115-acre Turnrow community, and it owns more than 120 acres of developable land in the area. It entered hospitality with the 104-key Residence Inn Boise West in 2024 and opened the 100-suite Home2 Suites Bozeman Four Corners in 2025. In January 2026 it made its first Texas deal, buying the 258-unit Beacon at Pfluger Farm in Pflugerville, a bet on Austin's shrinking apartment supply pipeline.
