Barry Sternlicht is the Chairman and CEO of Starwood Capital Group, which he founded in 1991 and has grown into a leading global private investment firm focused on real estate. Over his 34-year career, he has structured investments with an asset value exceeding $260 billion and led the firm to manage over $120 billion in assets. Sternlicht is recognized for his innovative approach to real estate investing and has overseen investments in residential, hotel, office, industrial, and retail properties worldwide. He holds a B.A. from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
