Douglas Durst

Chairman

Douglas Durst is the Chairman of The Durst Organization and a third-generation leader of the family business. He has overseen the company's significant growth, including the development of One Bryant Park, the nation’s first LEED Platinum high-rise office tower. Douglas is recognized for his environmental activism and leadership in sustainable real estate, and he holds a degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley. He serves on several boards, including the Real Estate Board of New York and The New School.
