John Z. Kukral

President & Chief Executive Officer

John Z. Kukral is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Northwood Investors LLC, which he founded in 2006, and has been an active real estate investor for over 41 years. He previously served as President and CEO of Blackstone Real Estate Advisors from 2002 to 2005, where he oversaw more than $33 billion in real estate acquisitions and managed a team of 70 professionals. Throughout his career, Mr. Kukral has been involved in over $43 billion of real estate transactions worldwide across office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, and residential assets. He serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee at Northwood and approves all firm commitments.
