Karim Esch is the Chief Investment Officer at Union Investment Real Estate GmbH, overseeing investment management since July 2025. He holds a degree in banking management and a Master of Finance in Real Estate, and began his career at Union Investment in 2011 after roles at Commerzbank and Commerz Real. Esch has extensive experience in institutional fund management and previously served as Managing Director at Union Investment Institutional Property GmbH.
