Mark S. Hoplamazian

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mark S. Hoplamazian is the President and CEO of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, overseeing global strategy and operations, including the integration and management of the Playa real estate portfolio. He joined Hyatt in 2004 and became CEO in 2006, leading the company through significant growth and its transition to an asset-light model. Hoplamazian holds a BA from Harvard College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Prior to Hyatt, he was President of The Pritzker Organization, the principal financial and investment advisor to the Pritzker family business interests.
