Michael S. Chae is Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer at Blackstone, overseeing the firm’s global finance, accounting, and treasury functions. He joined Blackstone in 1997 and has held several senior roles, including Head of International Private Equity and Head of Private Equity for Asia Pacific. Chae is recognized for his financial acumen, operational expertise, and leadership in global investment management. He holds an AB from Harvard College, an MPhil from Cambridge University, and a JD from Yale Law School.
