Rex Jensen is the President and CEO of Schroeder-Manatee Ranch, where he has led the development of Lakewood Ranch into the nation’s top-selling multigenerational master-planned community. He holds an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and a law degree from the University of Michigan. Before joining SMR in 1990 and becoming CEO in 2005, Jensen worked as a corporate lawyer, real estate consultant, and owned his own consulting firm. His leadership is recognized for integrating philanthropy, sustainability, and community-building into the company’s core mission.
