William Huffman

William Huffman is the Chief Executive Officer of Nuveen, bringing over 30 years of experience in asset management. Prior to becoming CEO in 2024, he served as President of Nuveen Asset Management and Head of Equities and Fixed Income, where he led teams managing over $1 trillion in assets. Huffman has overseen significant acquisitions and integrations, contributing to Nuveen's growth from $800 billion to $1.2 trillion in assets under management. He holds leadership roles in philanthropic and inclusion initiatives and previously served as CEO of Northern Trust Global Investments Limited.
