1000M is a 73-story luxury residential skyscraper located at the south end of Chicago’s Historic Michigan Avenue District, directly across from Grant Park. Designed by the late Helmut Jahn with interiors by Kara Mann, the tower features 738 apartments and over 80,000 square feet of amenities, including Chicago’s highest rooftop observation deck. The project is recognized for its innovative cantilevered design, maximizing views of Lake Michigan and the city skyline, and has received multiple awards for its architecture and development. Completed in June 2024, 1000M is already one-third leased and stands as a new icon in Chicago’s South Loop.
