5 World Trade Center (5WTC) Affordable Housing

5 World Trade Center (5WTC) is a landmark mixed-use development in Lower Manhattan, featuring a 900-foot tower with 1,200 residential units, of which 400 are permanently affordable for households earning 40-120% of area median income. The project sets aside 80 affordable units for 9/11 survivors, first responders, and families, and integrates 190,000 square feet of retail and office space, plus 10,000 square feet of community facilities. As the only residential building at the World Trade Center site, 5WTC addresses critical housing needs and fosters diversity in a high-opportunity neighborhood. Construction began in March 2023 and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.
