AC Hotel Research Park is a 154-key AC Hotels by Marriott property in Bridge Street Town Centre within Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, Alabama, and Spandrel Development Partners' first hotel development. Spandrel describes the site as the last available hotel parcel in Bridge Street Town Centre, an 825,000-square-foot lifestyle center managed by Tanger with more than 70 shops and restaurants. The hotel is planned with a restaurant and bar, a fitness center and roughly 4,000 to 5,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space (the press release says about 4,000; the firm's project page says 5,000) plus an outdoor patio and fire pit. Spandrel owns 4.5 acres there and plans a build-to-suit office building next to the hotel. Peachtree Group is providing a $32 million construction loan.
