Al Maktoum International Airport Expansion
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
The Al Maktoum International Airport Expansion is a transformative infrastructure project in Dubai, designed to create the world’s largest airport with a capacity of up to 260 million passengers annually. The project includes five parallel runways, 400 aircraft gates, and a fully integrated aerotropolis featuring logistics, cargo, residential, and commercial zones. Once complete, it will absorb most operations from Dubai International Airport and serve as Dubai’s primary aviation hub. The expansion is currently in active construction, with phased openings expected over the next decade.
