The project represents a major investment in regional logistics infrastructure, employing over 1,500 full-time associates and utilizing more than 6,000 robots to optimize order fulfillment and delivery. As the largest Amazon facility in the eastern United States, it serves as a critical hub for fast, reliable shipping across New England and supports over 1,000 local small businesses. The center officially opened in July 2025 and is fully operational, ramping up for major events like Prime Day.
