Americold is expanding its cold storage footprint in Houston, Texas, through the acquisition, expansion, and equipment upgrade of a facility in Baytown. The project adds 10.7 million cubic feet of temperature-controlled space and 35,700 pallet positions, supporting a major grocery retail contract. Strategically located in the Cedar Port Industrial Park, the expansion strengthens Americold’s market leadership in the high-turn retail segment of the cold storage supply chain. The facility is operational, with ongoing upgrades and expansion underway.
