Corewell Health is developing a new patient tower at its Beaumont Troy Hospital in Troy, Michigan, as part of a major expansion to address rising inpatient demand. The project will add 94 beds, increasing the hospital’s total capacity to 624 and boosting the proportion of private rooms from 40% to 72%. Key features include a 132,000-square-foot tower, a 128,000-square-foot parking deck with a pedestrian bridge, and upgrades to emergency, imaging, and surgical platforms. The project is currently in the advanced planning and permitting phase, with construction expected to begin by August 2027 and completion targeted for 2030.
