Dholera Solar Power Plant
Dholera, Gujarat
Dholera Solar Power Plant is a landmark renewable energy project located in the Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR), Gujarat, India, designed to be the country’s largest solar park with a planned capacity of 5,000 MW. Spanning 11,000 hectares along the Gulf of Khambhat, the project leverages advanced photovoltaic and tracking technologies to maximize solar energy generation. It plays a critical role in India’s green energy ambitions, supporting national targets for renewable capacity and reducing carbon emissions. As of late 2025, the project is under phased construction, with major components such as the 300 MW Tata Power Dholera Solar PV Station already operational.
