On November 20, 2024, during its Bashayer 24 stakeholder event, Diriyah Company broke ground on seven luxury hotels at once: Raffles Diriyah, Armani Hotel Diriyah, Orient Express Diriyah, Baccarat Hotel Diriyah, Corinthia Diriyah, Fauchon L'Hotel Diriyah and Rosewood Diriyah, with 877 rooms in total. The hotels are part of the company's plan for more than 40 hotels and over 6,500 rooms across Diriyah and Wadi Safar, and follow the December 2024 opening of the 134-room Bab Samhan, Diriyah's first hotel. Diriyah's renderings show the hotels in Najdi-style mud-brick architecture around the historic core; Raffles Diriyah overlooks Wadi Hanifah. Published details include a 70-room Armani Hotel with two restaurants and a spa, linked to 15 Armani Residences on Diriyah Square, and Baccarat Hotel and Residences with nine branded residences. Industry reports said the hotels were expected to be fully operational by 2027.
