Driftwood LNG Export Terminal

The Driftwood LNG Export Terminal is a major liquefied natural gas production and export facility located on the west bank of the Calcasieu River near Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project is designed to export up to 27.6 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of LNG, making it one of the largest LNG export terminals in the United States. It features advanced liquefaction technology, extensive pipeline infrastructure, and three full containment LNG storage tanks. The project is currently under construction, with first LNG production expected in 2023 and full operations anticipated by 2026.
