Field & Stream Lodge Big Bear is a planned 148-room renovation of the former Holiday Inn Resort Big Bear on Village Drive in Big Bear Lake, California, under the Field & Stream Lodge Co. brand founded by Starwood Capital Group and AJ Capital Partners. The property will include a restaurant, meeting space, suites, and an outdoor pool and hot tub. It sits on the main road through the village, about a 10-minute walk from the 3,000-acre Big Bear Lake and minutes from Bear Mountain Golf Course, roughly two hours by car from Los Angeles. Winter demand centers on Alterra's Big Bear Mountain Resort (Bear Mountain, Snow Summit and Snow Valley, about 680 skiable acres), while summer brings boating, mountain biking and more than 100 miles of trails. It is slated to open in 2028 alongside the Bend lodge.
