The Flats at Fondren

Birmingham, Alabama-based Arlington Properties broke ground on The Flats at Fondren, a $55 million, 234-unit apartment community behind the Fondren Garage in Jackson, Mississippi's Fondren district, on April 16, 2026. The development will include quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, a pool and pavilion, coworking space, a fitness center and a game room. It is the third major groundbreaking in the Fondren neighborhood in 2026 alone, a signal of renewed investor confidence in the district's revitalization.
