The Ford and SK On Battery Manufacturing Campus, also known as BlueOval SK Battery Park, is a transformative industrial development in Glendale, Kentucky, comprising two state-of-the-art electric vehicle battery plants. Spanning 1,500 acres, the project is designed to supply batteries for Ford and Lincoln EVs, with a total planned capacity exceeding 80 gigawatt hours annually. As the largest single economic investment in Kentucky's history, it is projected to create 5,000 jobs and position the region as a national leader in EV battery production. The first plant began production in August 2025, while the second facility's launch has been postponed amid evolving market conditions.
