The Hut 8 Data Center, also known as the River Bend Campus, is a $2.5 billion digital infrastructure project under construction in West Feliciana Parish, near St. Francisville, Louisiana. Spanning over 592 acres, the facility is designed to deliver up to 300MW of power for high-density Bitcoin mining and artificial intelligence workloads. The project is significant for its scale, advanced closed-loop cooling systems, and its role in positioning Louisiana as a competitive hub for AI and digital asset infrastructure. Construction began in early 2025, with phased delivery through 2026 and full operations targeted for 2027.
