Ellabell, Georgia

The Hyundai-LG Energy Solution Georgia EV Battery Facility is a major joint venture between Hyundai Motor Group and LG Energy Solution, located in Bryan County, Georgia. The project involves the construction of a state-of-the-art battery cell manufacturing plant with a planned annual capacity of 30 GWh, supporting the production of up to 300,000 electric vehicles per year. As one of the largest industrial investments in Georgia's history, the facility is designed to supply next-generation batteries to Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis EV models, strengthening the region's role in the U.S. electric vehicle supply chain. Currently under construction, the plant is scheduled to begin production in late 2025 or early 2026.
