Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America is a state-of-the-art electric vehicle and battery manufacturing complex located near Savannah, Georgia. Spanning nearly 3,000 acres, the facility integrates advanced automation, renewable energy, and innovative design to support the production of Hyundai, Genesis, and Kia electric and hybrid vehicles. As one of the largest single industrial investments in Georgia's history, the project is expected to create 8,500 direct jobs and catalyze a regional automotive supply chain. The plant began initial production in October 2024 and continues ramping up toward full operational capacity.
