Intel Arizona Fab Modernization
Chandler, Arizona
Intel Arizona Fab Modernization is a major industrial infrastructure project at the Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona, encompassing the construction of two new semiconductor fabrication facilities (Fab 52 and Fab 62) and the modernization of an existing fab. The project is designed to significantly expand Intel’s advanced manufacturing capacity, enabling production of cutting-edge chips using the Intel 18A process and supporting the launch of next-generation technologies such as Panther Lake processors. As the largest private-sector investment in Arizona’s history, it is pivotal for U.S. semiconductor leadership, job creation, and supply chain resilience. Construction is ongoing, with full operational status targeted for late 2026.
