Lexington/Ontario Plastic Film Manufacturing Expansion

The Lexington/Ontario Plastic Film Manufacturing Expansion is a major industrial project by Charter Next Generation (CNG) to increase specialty film production capacity in Lexington and Ontario, Ohio. The project involves a 157,000-square-foot expansion at the Lexington campus with 12 new film packaging lines and the installation of four new extrusion lines in Ontario. This expansion is designed to meet rising demand in the consumer goods sector and will create 125 new jobs while retaining over 1,200 existing positions. Currently under construction, the project is supported by significant state and local economic development incentives and is a key driver of regional advanced manufacturing growth.
