Little River District Redevelopment

Miami, Florida

The Little River District Redevelopment is a transformative, mixed-use project spanning 63 acres in Miami, Florida, aiming to deliver over 5,700 affordable and workforce housing units alongside major retail, green spaces, and transit infrastructure. The project replaces aging public housing and integrates big-box retail, a new Tri-Rail station, and extensive community amenities to revitalize the Little River and Little Haiti neighborhoods. As the largest affordable housing initiative in Miami-Dade County’s history, it is designed to address the region’s acute housing shortage and foster inclusive economic growth. The project has received final county approval and is currently in the planning phase, with construction expected to commence in 2026.
