Louisville Home Appliance Manufacturing Expansion

The Louisville Home Appliance Manufacturing Expansion is a $490 million project led by GE Appliances, a Haier company, at its global headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky. The initiative will create the most advanced laundry manufacturing plant in the U.S., reshoring production of GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer and UltraFresh Front Load Washer lines from China. This expansion is set to generate 800 new full-time jobs and solidify Louisville’s position as a national hub for advanced appliance manufacturing. Currently, the project is under construction with operations scheduled to begin in 2027.
