Maple Grove Biotechnology Processing Facility Renovation

The Maple Grove Biotechnology Processing Facility Renovation is a transformative project led by BioMADE to convert a 122,000-square-foot building into a state-of-the-art demonstration-scale biomanufacturing hub. The facility will feature advanced piloting equipment, including two 25,000-liter fermenters and comprehensive downstream processing capabilities, supporting both defense and commercial applications. As a flagship site in BioMADE’s national network, it will accelerate the commercialization of bioindustrial innovations, strengthen U.S. supply chains, and foster workforce development in Minnesota. Currently under construction, the project is scheduled for completion in 2027.
