The MTU Maintenance Dallas Facility Renovation is a major modernization and expansion project at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas. The project involves a $120 million investment to upgrade and expand a 43,000-square-meter (462,847-square-foot) facility, transforming it from an on-site service center into a full disassembly, assembly, and test facility for commercial and military aircraft engines. Key features include the addition of advanced engine testing capabilities, increased capacity, and support for new engine types such as CFM LEAP and GEnx. Currently under construction, the facility is scheduled for completion by late 2026 and will be renamed MTU Maintenance Fort Worth.
