NEOM – The Line
Tabuk, Tabuk Province
NEOM – The Line is a revolutionary urban development in Tabuk Province, Saudi Arabia, envisioned as a 170-kilometer linear city with a mirrored facade, designed to accommodate up to 9 million residents in vertically stacked communities. The project aims to eliminate cars and streets, relying on high-speed underground transit and artificial intelligence to connect homes, offices, and amenities within a five-minute walk. As the centerpiece of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, The Line promises zero carbon emissions and 100% renewable energy, setting new standards for sustainable urban living. As of late 2025, construction is underway, though the project has faced delays, cost overruns, and a phased approach with initial segments prioritized.
