Pleasant Valley Rapid Line TOD (Project Connect)

Austin, Texas

The Pleasant Valley Rapid Line is a 14-mile Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor forming a key part of Austin’s Project Connect, designed to connect the Mueller neighborhood in northeast Austin to Goodnight Ranch in the southeast. Featuring 43 planned stations, the line will offer high-frequency, limited-stop service with advanced amenities and seamless transfers to other transit modes. As the first BRT in Austin to be fully operated with battery electric buses, it supports the city’s climate goals and enhances mobility for transit-dependent communities. The project is currently under construction, with service scheduled to begin in 2025.
