The project aims to serve as a major logistics hub, leveraging proximity to Interstate 64 and the Port of Virginia to optimize supply chain efficiency for Target’s regional operations. This development is expected to create hundreds of high-quality jobs and significantly boost the local economy, positioning New Kent as a strategic distribution corridor in the Mid-Atlantic. As of November 2025, the project is under construction with site work commencing in March 2025.
