The Samsung Austin Semiconductor Fab Expansion in Taylor, Texas is a large-scale industrial project involving the construction of a state-of-the-art semiconductor fabrication facility. Spanning approximately 1,200 acres, the project includes a 4 million square foot campus with advanced manufacturing capabilities for next-generation logic chips. This expansion is Samsung’s largest-ever U.S. investment, aimed at strengthening domestic chip supply chains and supporting technologies such as AI, 5G, and high-performance computing. As of late 2025, the facility is under construction and is expected to be operational by the end of 2026.
