San Antonio Solar Module Equipment Expansion

San Antonio, Texas

The San Antonio Solar Module Equipment Expansion is a major upgrade of Mission Solar Energy’s manufacturing campus, nearly doubling its footprint with a new 200,000 square-foot facility. This project will add 2 GW of solar cell production capacity and is expected to create 500 new jobs, significantly strengthening the U.S. solar supply chain. The expansion is designed to produce high-efficiency solar cells and modules using polysilicon sourced from OCI TerraSus, ensuring a fully traceable and sustainable supply chain. As of late 2025, the facility is under construction with commercial operations targeted for early 2026.
