Sendero Verde is a transformative, mixed-use affordable housing development occupying a full city block in East Harlem, New York. The project comprises over 700 permanently affordable residential units, extensive community and retail spaces, a charter school, and a community center, all designed around a central landscaped courtyard. As the world’s largest Passive House-certified residential building, Sendero Verde sets a new standard for sustainable, healthy, and inclusive urban living. The first phase is completed and operational, with subsequent phases progressing toward full completion.
