Texas Instruments Sherman Fab Complex

Sherman, Texas

Texas Instruments is developing a multi-fab semiconductor manufacturing campus in Sherman, Texas, representing the largest investment in foundational chip production in U.S. history. The complex will consist of up to four connected 300mm wafer fabrication plants (SM1, SM2, SM3, SM4) designed to manufacture analog and embedded processing chips at scale. The facility is strategically positioned to support critical applications across vehicles, smartphones, data centers, and defense systems, with SM1 beginning initial production in 2025. This mega-site is part of TI's broader $60 billion U.S. manufacturing expansion and is expected to produce hundreds of millions of chips daily while supporting over 60,000 new U.S. jobs across all TI facilities.
