The Line (NEOM)

NEOM, Tabuk Province

The Line is a 170-kilometer-long, 500-meter-high linear city under construction in NEOM, Tabuk Province, Saudi Arabia, designed to house up to nine million residents in a zero-carbon, car-free environment. Conceived as a radical reimagining of urban form, it features two parallel mirrored skyscrapers with vertically stacked infrastructure, integrating nature and amenities within a five-minute walk for all residents. As a flagship project of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, The Line aims to set new global standards for sustainability, density, and smart city technology. As of 2025, construction is underway on initial segments, with the first modules expected to be activated by 2026 and full completion targeted for 2045.
