TSMC Arizona Semiconductor Fab

Phoenix, Arizona

TSMC Arizona Semiconductor Fab is a multi-phase, advanced semiconductor manufacturing complex located in Phoenix, Arizona, representing the largest foreign direct investment in the state's history. The project comprises three greenfield fabrication plants, each deploying cutting-edge process technologies from 4nm down to 2nm, with a total investment exceeding $65 billion. The fabs are designed to bolster U.S. semiconductor supply chain resilience, support high-growth sectors like AI, automotive, and consumer electronics, and create over 6,000 direct manufacturing jobs. As of late 2025, the first fab is nearing operational status, with full production expected in 2026 and subsequent fabs scheduled for completion by the end of the decade.
