UM Shore Medical Center is a state-of-the-art, six-story hospital complex under construction in Easton, Maryland, designed to replace the existing facility and transform healthcare delivery for Maryland’s Mid-Shore region. The project encompasses a 325,294-square-foot acute care tower and a 60,000-square-foot outpatient services building on a 230-acre site. Key features include 122 private inpatient beds, advanced emergency and surgical facilities, and a helipad, serving over 450,000 residents across five counties. Construction began in late 2024, with completion and opening anticipated in 2028.
