Viva White Oak is a transformative 280-acre mixed-use development in Silver Spring, Maryland, designed to create a major hub for life sciences, residential, retail, and hospitality. The project will deliver approximately 12 million square feet of commercial, residential, and public space, including nearly 5,000 homes, extensive retail, lab, and office facilities, and two hotels. Strategically located adjacent to the FDA headquarters, it aims to catalyze economic growth, generate over 9,000 permanent jobs, and revitalize East Montgomery County. As of late 2025, the project is advancing through key planning and infrastructure milestones, with initial construction activities underway.
