Willets Point Redevelopment
Queens, New York
Willets Point Redevelopment is a transformative mixed-use project in Queens, New York, converting a historically industrial and environmentally degraded area into a vibrant urban neighborhood. The development will deliver 2,500 affordable housing units, a fully electric soccer stadium for New York City Football Club (NYCFC), a 250-room hotel, retail spaces, public open areas, and a new public school. This initiative marks the largest 100-percent affordable housing construction in New York City in over four decades and is projected to generate $6.1 billion in economic impact over 30 years. As of November 2025, construction is underway, with the first phase’s superstructures topped out and full completion targeted for late 2026.
